Our supplier manufactures ceramic extrusion dies for the non-ferrous metal forming industry (copper, brass and nickel). Our extrusion dies can be used for bars, tubes or profile extrusion.

Format
Our supplier makes round dies, but other forms are equally possible to provide (rectangular, oval, square and hexagonal). The minimum – maximum dimensions we can offer is an internal diameter of 2 mm and an outer diameter of 120 mm. Material
The most suitable ceramic materials for hot extrusion are zirconia-magnesia (KZM) and Magnesium oxide (MgO). For low temperature processes we recommend zirconia-yttria (KZY-1000). Components based on a matrix of zirconium oxide are tough, chemically inert, stables at high temperatures, resistant to corrosion, have good wear characteristics and are resistant to thermal shock.
