Magnesium is the lightest of the common construction metals. Magnesium has, compared to its weight by volume, very good tensile properties. Magnesium has a hexagonal metal structure, which gives the metal special characteristics, such as very high form stability and self damping capacity. Magnesium is favourable to process, consumes less energy and has got a favourable chip formation. Magnesium is also easy to weld and to recycle.
Through our cooperation with the supplier, we can offer all forms of magnesium products:

- bars
- profiles
- tubes
- etc.
Also material for milling and forging. We can offer press capacities from 3 000 till 14 000 tons. From our stock in Karlstad, we can deliver certain dimensions of sheet, all dimensions of tooling plates, as well as a selection of bar material. Ask for our inventory list!

Different semi-products of magnesium
EXTRUSIONS. Magnesium extrusions are available in circle sizes from 1-17,5" (25,4-444,5 mm).
TOOLING PLATES are available in thicknesses from 0,25-6" (6,35-152mm). Widths up to 60" (1 524 mm). On request, tooling plates can be produced with thicknesses up to 14" (355,6 mm). See our stocklist!
SHEET and COILS. Sheet thicknesses from 0,020-0,249" (0,51-6,32 mm). Coils from 0,010-0,020" (0,25-0,51 mm). Widths up to 60" (1 524 mm).
CAST FORGING INGOTS are produced in standard machined diameters from 11,387-15,687" (289,23-398,45 mm). Lengths up to 41,5" (1 054mm).
EXTRUDED FORGING BILLETS are produced in dimensions from 1-11"(25,4-279,4 mm).
